He Said She Said- The Lowdown on Madonna and Guy’s Divorce
For some time there has been speculation that Madonna and Guy Ritchie were on the rocks. The tabloids were talking, and the pair kept insisting that everything was fine.
Now, though, they admit that they are divorcing. That may be old news to some, but what's not old are the 'he said, she said' stories that are all over the place. According to most of those, Madonna is a diva who only cares about herself. Guy reportedly told her that she was old, fat, ugly, stupid and couldn't sing. She allegedly told him that she should have married someone more like herself – someone who was spiritual, intelligent and attractive, etc.
Whether any of these things are true is anyone's guess, and whether it's true that Madonna has been abusive and slapped Guy before is also not proven. One thing that is for sure, though, is that this doesn't sound like they are headed for an amicable divorce, and the pair will probably continue to make a lot of headlines for a very long time.

Hudson’s Nephew Confirmed Dead
Jennifer Hudson, Oscar winning actress and singer, learned Friday of the death of her mother and brother. They were both shot in her mother's Chicago home. There is no specific motive, although the police believe it to be a domestic incident, and no one is in custody for it or charged with anything. They do have a person of interest, though.
However, the most pressing issue was that Hudson's nephew, seven year old Julian King, was missing, and had been missing since the shootings were discovered. Hudson offered a $100,000 reward for King's safe return and the boy's mother made a tearful plea to please return her boy; that he was an innocent child and had not done anything wrong.
Despite the plea and the monetary offer, the body of Julian King was found in an SUV that investigators feel is connected to the crime and that was discussed in the amber alert that was issued. There has not yet been word on how the boy died or how long he had been dead when the body was discovered.

Lindsay and Sam on the Rocks?
Commuters on the train from New York to Washington, D.C. might have thought so if they'd been paying attention to the quiet fight that the pair seemed to be having. Sam was on her way to deejaying a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network there, and Lindsay appeared to want to be close to her.
On the train, though, Lindsay accused Sam of lying to her and insisted that she was doing what was good for her partner, not what was best for both of them. Sam seemed tired of the whining, but by the time they were spotted later that night at the fundraiser all seemed to have been forgiven and Lindsay made no mention of the problems on her blog. Instead she talked of the amazing energy that Sam has and how happy she is with her. That doesn't sound like they're on the rocks to us, and every couple has their tiffs sometimes, even happy ones.
Whether Lindsay and Sam will stay together, though, no one really knows. It is Hollywood, after all.

Whether you love her or hate her, there was no question that Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin made a splash with her comedy debut on Saturday Night Live. It brought huge ratings to the already popular show and it's estimated that more than 14 million people tuned in to watch the show.
Tina Fey has been playing Palin on SNL for some time now, ever since she was chosen by John McCain to be his running mate. Usually they poke fun at something that Palin said or did, and this was no exception – except that Palin was part of it. She got to trade places with Tina Fey after Fey got started in the skit, portraying Palin at a news conference. Because there were so many people who tuned in to watch the show, Palin gave the SNL crowd their best ratings in fourteen years. That's saying something, because SNL consistently has good guests and good ratings.
Some people tuned in because they love Sarah Palin and others tuned in to make fun of her, but either way, a lot of people watched.

Rumor has it that Amy Winehouse has been contacted by the celebrity branch of the Church of Scientology in an effort to help her get clean from the drugs and alcohol that she never seems to be able to leave alone.
There's been no specific information as to whether she has accepted the church's offer, but apparently scientologists have contacted other individuals as well, including Pink and Kirsten Dunst, in an effort to help them become clean.
Winehouse doesn't seem a likely candidate for organized religion, but since she's been involved in so many different ideas and approaches in the past, it can't totally be ruled out, either. It seems as though she'll have to do something soon. Years of drug abuse are apparently eating away the bone in her nose, and she admits that it's becoming a problem. Her nose feels weak, and it may actually crumble if her drug use continues.
Whether she'll stop the drugs or join the Church of Scientology remains to be seen.
