Billy Mays was a TV pitchman, best known for hawking products like Oxyclean and OrangeGlow.  Mays was a passenger this Saturday on a US Airways flight that made a rough landing in Tampa, FL.   During the landing Billy Mays was struck in the head by items in the overhead, but Billy seemed to be unphased when he told reporters:

“It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head,” .

His wife said Billy wasn’t feeling well that evening and when she woke up the next morning she found him unresponsive.   Billy Mays was 50 years old.

Farewell to Michael Jackson, dead at age 50.  Michael was found dead Thursday, June 25th at his Holmby Hills home, the cause of death was found to be cardiac arrest.  Paramedics were unable to resuscitate him and time of death was called when Jackson’s body reached UCLA Medical Center.

27 rookies were on site when the dome collapsed.  Coach Garrett helped players and media get to safety.  All players are accounted for and unhurt.  Several support staff have been injured.

Britney Jean Spears in real life was born on December 2, 1981. She is an American singer and entertainer. Spears is ranked as the eighth best-selling female recording artist in the United States with 32 million sold albums certified by the Recording Industry Association of America and one of the world’s best-selling music artists having sold an estimated 85 million records worldwide. During her popularity she’s been title to a pop princess. She’s been raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, but she was born in McComb, Mississippi. Spears first appeared on national television in 1992 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel’s television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994. In 1997, Spears signed a recording contract with Jive, releasing her debut album …Baby One More Time in 1999. The album established her as a pop icon and “bona fide pop phenomenon”, credited for influencing the revival of teen pop in the late 1990s.[3]. Her next 3 albums debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making her the first and only female artist to have her first 4 albums debut at number one. In late 2008, Spears released her sixth studio album, Circus, on her 27th birthday.

Britney’s parents are Lynne Irene (née Bridges), a former elementary school teacher, and Jamie Parnell Spears, a former building contractor and chef. Spears was an accomplished gymnast, attending gymnastics classes until age nine and competing in state-level competitions. She performed in local dance revues and sang in her local Baptist church choir. She also entered New York City’s Professional Performing Arts School when she was eight. At age eight again, Spears auditioned for the Disney Channel series The New Mickey Mouse Club. Although she was considered too young to join the series at the time, a producer on the show introduced her to a New York City agent.

Britney is really famous, and everyone knows her. Well, I think their still much more about her. Well, all I can say is she’s so lucky, like her album LUCKY.

However, she was on Dancing with the Stars the next week, and she did well and looked beautiful.

If she wants to commemorate that, or if fans of one or both shows want to commemorate that, they might do it by scrapbooking. When they do, they can get a Cricut cartridge that has just the right design and patterns on it, so they can make shapes that go with the theme of what they want to convey on their pages. It’s a great way to keep track of all kinds of things that are going on in your life, both the good and the bad.

Phoenix says it’s true, though. He really wants a career in hip hop, and he’s given up acting to do it. He says it’s not a hoax, and he’s not doing it for publicity, he’s just following his heart. He’s grown a beard, adopted the shaggy-and-unkempt look, and started rapping. He built a recording studio in his home, and he’s spending a lot of time there, working on tracks for his album. His rap debut came at a club in Vegas, and the video is now on the Internet. It made a lot of people start asking questions about whether he was serious or whether he was just joking because most of the rapping was inaudible and he fell off the stage at the end.

It wasn’t exactly a good start, but he still insists he’s for real. Apparently only time will tell on this one, and it’s certain that a lot of people will be sticking around to see what happens, if only for the amusement.

In the film, a con man meets a man that he falls in love with while he’s in prison. He starts to concoct a lot of elaborate escapes and masquerades that he can use so that he and his man can be free. Carrey and McGregor allegedly weren’t uncomfortable with the kissing and cuddling scenes, saying that playing gay is no different than playing straight – it’s all just acting and for the sake of a good story.

Fans don’t seem to mind, either, although some people who are fans of the two actors might be uncomfortable with them playing gay roles. The movie promises to give viewers a different side of Jim Carrey’s acting ability, which many might see as a welcome and impressive change.
