It’s a Boy for Pete and Ashlee!

It has just been revealed that Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz are expecting a baby boy. Pete Wentz, member of the rock group Fall Out Boy, says the couple is pretty sure about the gender of their first unborn child. Wentz reports that he and Ashlee know with 90% accuracy that they will be raising a son, with a due date around Thanksgiving of this year.

While both celebs are excited, the bass player says they have yet to pick out a name for the new arrival. However, he did promise that it will indeed be something “rock star worthy.” Wentz reported to Playboy magazine that a friend said the newborn must have a name fitted for a rock star or at least a senator.

A spokesperson for the celebrity couple was forced to deny the rumor that they were expecting twins. Apparently this news came from hip-hop artist Tigga, a close friend of Pete’s who broke the word that Wentz and Simpson were happy to be having twins.

Just married earlier in the year, both Ashlee and Pete insist that they are looking to have a happy Thanksgiving with only one child.
