   Well, how funny is it to watch you guys throwing insults back and forth, arguing about whether this is racist or not, or if the little underprivileged black kids are being exploited – what fucking difference is this photo going to make? Are the kids going to miss out on their next meal? Are any of you righteous twats going to send them money, or the means to help them provide for themselves? I think not.    I think these forums give people a chance to vent their spleens and talk about things. If anything the internet has made men talk a lot more, previously the preseve of women. understanding each other eventually through dialogue we soon realise that the only thing that separates us from each other is the colour of our skin and the different cultures we hold dear to ourselves. Ultimately it was just a joke and most jokes hurt when they have a smattering of truth to them. There are scammers in Nigeria, let us not deny it. A few people have spoilt the image of nigeria but they were not to know that the west will always take the negative aspects of any “third world” country and try to assuage their own peoples’ feelings of resentment at their lot by letting them know someone out there is suffering more! I am a Nigerian and dont feel offended. It is a fact of life that jokes are made about peoples, and it is also true that for the mean time people of lighter skin tone have the monopoly on which jokes get given the greatest airing. Suffice it to say a joke about say for instance ‘British men given free packs of extra strong condoms’ with captions like “I think I know a little boy down the road who fancies a s@~#” Or “Looks like it is happy days for me and my daughter!”

   These are truths that happen every day but people of colour have got better things to do. That is the truth, racism is not what it is. Racism is where people of a certain race are hindered from bettering themselves by the actions of people of a different race. Calling me names may hurt, may bring back memories of those words being used in a racist way…”go back to your own country, nigger”
   ….or “get off this bus you Black Bastard” but it is not racism, just ignorance…ignorance of the things that really hurt…
   People should learn to tolerate each other. Truth is we cant all be friends…even amongst our differing races and cultures we hate each other…so dont panic! But the sooner people dont look down on the impoverished…who incidently inhabit both the ‘Third’ and ‘First’ worlds…the sooner these divisions will fade into history…It may not happen in our lifetimes, but it will one day. In the end the have nots can not stay put down forever..look at the Brish empire…the Roman empire…need I say more? Keep safe everyone, life if full of challenges, it is how we deal with them that counts, not wether or not a picture is offensive.
