Anne Heche is Pregnant

Anne Heche is going to have another baby, this time with boyfriend James Tupper. She already has a six-year-old son with her former husband, and this new baby will be the first child for her with Tupper.

Heche is thirty-nine and has had an interesting love life that might make her pregnancy a bit of a surprise to some people who haven’t really been following her career. She was linked in a romantic way with Ellen DeGeneres for over three years, and many people thought that she had no further interest in men.

Heche met Tupper through her work on the television show ‘Men in Trees’ and they began a romance. On the show she played a relationship guru who had relocated to Alaska. She’s also been in films such as ‘Donnie Brasco,’ ‘Wag the Dog,’ and ‘John Q.’ She had been separated from her husband, cameraman Coleman Laffoon, for some time but did not receive an official divorce until June of this year because the couple was locked into a custody battle over their child.

People magazine names a sexiest man alive each year. This year, they chose Hugh Jackman. Love him or hate him, a lot of people like the way he looks. He’s more than just a pretty face, however, and that’s something that not everyone realizes until they actually start finding out about him rather than just looking.

Not only do women stare and trip over themselves when Jackman enters a room, but he’s not just a talented actor. He can also dance and sing, and he’s a good husband and father. No, he’s not available. He’s been married for twelve years, which is nothing short of a miracle in the entertainment business, and he has two children who are eight and three years old.

When he told his wife that he had won the honor she said she knew that years ago, but she also joked that apparently Brad Pitt wasn’t available this year. At forty, Jackman clearly has it all. Looks, talent, a great family, and happiness. Forty is still young, and Jackman has a lot of years still ahead of him to wow women onscreen and wow his family when he’s home.

The Chicago Bears Celebrate Veteran’s Day

The Chicago Bears celebrated Veteran’s Day in a way that most people did not – by visiting hospitalized veterans. The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) has a Celebrity Entertainment Program designed to lift the spirits of those who have been injured and who are in the hospital, still recovering from their injuries.

Two of the players, fullback Jason McKie and running back Adrian Peterson, visited the North Chicago VA Medical Center on the eleventh to show their support and respect for those people who fight for our country. A lot of these hospitalized veterans rarely get any visitors, and having someone come to see them, especially a celebrity like a star football player, can make them feel as though there are people out there who really do care about them, and who recognize and appreciate what they have done for their country.
Many of these people will carry their scars all of their lives, and now they can carry this good memory, as well.

Obama the New Celebrity

Now that Barack Obama is going to be the new President of the United States there’s a real reason for him to be in the spotlight, but he’s also somewhat of a celebrity in his own right, as well.

Before the election was even over Obama had attained celebrity status, and most of that came from his status as an African-American and the way that he rose through the ranks so quickly. No one thought that his candidacy had a chance, but when he did well in the primaries and when Hillary Clinton finally suspended her campaign, it began to look as though he had a real chance.

Many McCain supporters hung onto the idea that their candidate would win, but in the end Obama was far too popular and his ideas were far too interesting to people looking for change for him to do anything but win.

He will likely keep that celebrity status for some time, no matter how well he does in his actual duties as President because his election was so historic for the United States.

How much would you pay for an Angelina Jolie doll? An anonymous bidder in the U.K. snagged his on eBay for the nominal fee of £2,000 (roughly $3,157). Proving that even rich bastards buy stupid shit.

The Angelina Jolie look-alike doll was created by artist Noel Cruz. Cruz buys ordinary dolls, removes the factory paint and retouches the faces. He then adds wigs and outfits to complete the celebrity look.

He Said She Said- The Lowdown on Madonna and Guy’s Divorce

For some time there has been speculation that Madonna and Guy Ritchie were on the rocks. The tabloids were talking, and the pair kept insisting that everything was fine.

Now, though, they admit that they are divorcing. That may be old news to some, but what’s not old are the ‘he said, she said’ stories that are all over the place. According to most of those, Madonna is a diva who only cares about herself. Guy reportedly told her that she was old, fat, ugly, stupid and couldn’t sing. She allegedly told him that she should have married someone more like herself – someone who was spiritual, intelligent and attractive, etc.

Whether any of these things are true is anyone’s guess, and whether it’s true that Madonna has been abusive and slapped Guy before is also not proven. One thing that is for sure, though, is that this doesn’t sound like they are headed for an amicable divorce, and the pair will probably continue to make a lot of headlines for a very long time.
