Seeing as this very minute I have four kittens mewing on my front porch from someone not spaying their cat…four little adorable cuties who I’m going to have killed (aka euthaized) because everyday equal little cuties are killed by the thousands from lack of homes. ANyone who thinks that it is the county shelters fault for having to put down so many animals is more than naive. PETA you are so right on.
You don’t have to kill the kittens mewing on your front porch. There are no kill animal shelters and tons of low cost spay and neuter clinics you can take the kittens to.
You can spay/neuter then release. At least then, they can live out their lives without adding to the problem.
Many local park traps wild cats/strays that are on the property and then releases them back in the park. They do sit out cat food and water on a nightly basis, but cats are excellent hunters.
I’m sure if you asked the cat if it wanted to be euthanized or fixed and released back to the wild it would always choose the wild.
