Barker And DJ AM Expected To Make Full Recovery

Blink-182's ex-drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) were both seriously injured when they were burned in a plane crash. It's believed that the Learjet blew a tire on takeoff, which caused the jet to go out of control and crash. The jet then caught fire. As scary as that sounds, the good news is that a full recovery is expected for both men, although they might both spend several weeks in the hospital. The other four people on the plane did not survive the accident.

The voice recorder indicated that the pilot and co-pilot reacted to a noise that was consistent with a tire blowout. They attempted to abort the takeoff, but were not able to causing the Learjet to skid off the runway.

According to reports from various news industries, DJ AM is burned over 50% of his body and the burns are most severe on his face. Barker was burned mostly on the lower half of his body. The two men have a long road ahead of them, but they will both recover and survive.
