Apparantly, Cagle and Tant were having a good o'l knock down drag out when the cops were called.  The Po-Po said the couple was drunk and then their loud argument became physical.  Both Chris and Jennifer were detained for a mandatory 12 hour jail spa day.

This is when it truly sucks to be famous…Judge William T. Hodges sentenced Snipes with the maximum sentence, stating that it was important to create a deterrent against tax defiance.

"I am very sorry for my mistakes and errors. This will never happen again." Says Snipes.

The judge accused Snipes of making a “grandstanding move” when during the courts recess Snipes legal team gave an IRS agent checks totaling $5 million.  The judge and prosecutor refused the payment.

Snipes said he epitomized the phrase “Mo Money, Mo’ Problems.

Snipes legal team plans to appeal but Uncle Sam and his prosecutors intend to deny any request that would allow him to stay out of the big house while any appeal is pending.

Japan issued an arrest warrant for actress Hayden Panettiere for protesting with a surf board along side other activist, in Taiji on Oct. 27th. The protest was against the killing of dolphins which occurs in the coastal village of Taiji.  Taiji slaughters thousands of dolphins in the cove every year.

"I learned today that I have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan because of what I did for Save the Whales," Panettiere, 18, is quoted as telling E! News.

Late last month, the actress-activist participated with others in a confrontation with fisherman during a dolphin hunt.

Asked what the repercussions might be from the warrant, Panettiere said, "Potentially jail, but I doubt it. ... I guess they could come here and get us, but probably not."

Would Do It Again Panettiere said the arrest warrant does not faze her. "I'd do it again," she said of the protest. "Very possibly, might do it again."

The actress added that the personal risks involved paled in comparison to the potential good that could come from the activists' actions.

"I was very excited that people were interested in what we did," she said. "In [Hollywood], you tend to only get publicity for not wearing underwear or going to rehab."

On Wednesday, August 22nd Lindsay plead guilty to nine misdemeanor charges along with the two DUIs filed against her.  Luckily for this Hollywood princess, she was able to afford an attorney us norms could only dream of.  Lindsay's super attorney scored a sweet deal that was almost painless.

Since Lindsay plead no contest to both DUI charges, it is mandatory that she serves a minimum of four days in the slammer.  Thanks to Lindsay's fame she is going to be just fine, serving 36 months probation and attending an alcohol education program for 18 months for the first DUI.

Jail time came when dealing with Lindsay's second DUI.  The judge ordered Lohan to serve 48 hours in jail, of which the first 24 must be served by January 18th (Which is totally bogus..I mean come on..what self respecting party girl is going to be available for jail time anywhere near the Christmas/New Years extravaganza?).

Some how Lindsay will have to buckle down and work hard to pull off this loathsome task.  I know our hearts are with her on this trying experience.

Celebrity oops don't just happen because of paparazzi, they often come directly out of the mouths of the celebrities themselves. The biggest celebrity oops are almost always attributed to celebrities not knowing when to shut up.

For some reason celebrities from every genre think they have an opinion that matters. Maybe that is why celebrity oops happen so frequently. With news channels on 24/7 you can bet it will be a top story. Nothing brings out the hyena's like a good celebrity oops story. Ratings go up, and the public goes on a gossip frenzy. The fact the celebrity oops has nothing to do with real news and world importance is of no consequence to reporters and their news stations.

At no time did I approve of the defendant being released from custody to her home. "I don't know why the defendant could not be treated at Lynwood, because they have a great medical facility." says Judge Sauer.

Late Thursday afternoon the city attorney filed a petition demanding  the cause of Paris' changed punishment, and to learn if Sherriff Lee Baca should be held in contempt of court for releasing Hilton.

There is currently no order for Sherrif Baca to attend court.

Paris had the opportunity to gain some respect from the public by biting the bullet and just doing her time, exactly like the rest of us would have to. She even went in early, not something most of us would do. We all like seeing celebs take responsibility for their actions - but we don't mind burning them at the stake as well. 

When word spread of Paris' release the public was mad as hell, and they didn't hesitate to let the world know it.

"What transpired here is outrageous," county Supervisor Don Knabe told The Associated Press, adding he received hundreds of phone calls from all over the country and more than 400 angry e-mails.

This story has become so mainstream that it is no longer about Paris Hilton, but the special treatment the priveldeged receive over everyone else. Paris has made so many people angry with this stunt, that the heat is barreling down on politicians everywhere.  I think she is headed back to the slammer.

After 3 torturous days in the clink, Paris has been fitted with a new piece of ankle jewelry and reassigned to house arrest.  Paris was released from jail due to medical reasons he could not discuss due to confidentiality laws says Steve Whitmore, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson.

Whitmore emphatically stated that Paris was not released early, but only reassigned.  Technically, Paris is still in custody and will be confined to her West Hollywood home for 40 days. 

Paris' jail cell was 96 square feet and now she has a 3000-4000 foot radius of couch sitting, food delivering, tv watching freedom.

For the rest of the world, staying in a mansion with amenities up the wazoo is considered a luxury & a dream vacation.  According to Whitmore after her 40 days are up Paris will have fulfilled her debt to society.  How out of touch is our legal system?
